About Me

Jake, Owner/Lead Instructor

I have been involved in the firearms industry for over a decade. Through my work in federal law enforcement, I’ve had the opportunity to train and be trained by, a wide variety of instructors, institutions and companies. I’ve been involved in creating multiple firearm courses for my agency. This includes being a lead designer on the longest firearms course currently being taught to new recruits. This course takes place over 32 hours and includes classroom presentation, pretests, posttests, a dynamic cumulative final assessment and over 26 hours of focused drills and skill building on the range.

I started this company because I felt I had something unique to offer. I’ve worked in a uniformed capacity as well as plain clothes in semi-permissive environments. Professionally I’ve used pistols, submachine guns, and rifles. My background varies from teaching children to training Federal Law Enforcement Special Operations Branch members. My teaching style is applicable to a wide and diverse audience. No two students are alike, and a good instructor can adapt their approach to meet the needs of the student.
